1. What the service is

Vidastral generates a three-card tarot reading using an AI model. The reading is presented as prose and labeled as AI-generated. It is for entertainment and personal reflection only. Nothing in a reading is medical, legal, financial, psychological, or any other kind of professional advice. If you need such advice, consult a qualified professional.

2. Acceptable use

• Do not attempt to harm, overload, or reverse-engineer the service.
• Do not submit content that is illegal, threatening, defamatory, or intended to harm another person.
• Do not use the service to make decisions with significant legal, medical, or financial consequences.
• You must be at least the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction (typically 13–16) to use the service.

3. Accounts

Accounts are free and use magic-link email sign-in. You are responsible for keeping your email account secure. If your email account is compromised, contact us so we can invalidate your session.

4. No guarantees

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. AI-generated output can be wrong, incomplete, or surprising. We do not guarantee that readings will be accurate, meaningful, uninterrupted, or error-free.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vidastral and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising out of your use of or inability to use the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (zero, if the service was free to you).

6. Content and intellectual property

The service, its design, and its content are owned by Vidastral or its licensors. Readings generated for you are yours to keep and share for personal, non-commercial use. You may not scrape, resell, or train third-party models on bulk output from the service.

7. Changes

We may change these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page with a revised "last updated" date. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, and subject to the mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence.

10. Purchases

Some extensions of a reading are paid; the price, VAT included, is shown before you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. Extensions written right away are digital content delivered immediately: by ticking the consent box before paying, you agree to immediate delivery and waive the 14-day right of withdrawal. If we fail to write what you paid for, we refund that amount. Extensions bought as a reservation are delivered within 14 days; if that period passes without delivery, the amount is refunded automatically. An extension about another person is offered to adults only: we do not read about people under 18.
