1. What the service is

Vidastral generates tarot readings using an AI model. Each is presented as prose and labeled as AI-generated. Vidastral also sells a reading by an independent tarot reader, who prepares it with Vidastral's tools, including AI, reviews it and signs it with her name; the data of that order is processed by AI. Every reading is for entertainment and personal reflection only. Nothing in a reading is medical, legal, financial, psychological, or any other kind of professional advice. If you need such advice, consult a qualified professional.

2. Acceptable use

• Do not attempt to harm, overload, or reverse-engineer the service.
• Do not submit content that is illegal, threatening, defamatory, or intended to harm another person.
• Do not use the service to make decisions with significant legal, medical, or financial consequences.
• You must be at least 18 years old to use the service. Vidastral is for adults only.

3. Accounts

Accounts are free and use magic-link email sign-in. You are responsible for keeping your email account secure. If your email account is compromised, contact us so we can invalidate your session.

4. No guarantees

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. AI-generated output can be wrong, incomplete, or surprising. We do not guarantee that readings will be accurate, meaningful, uninterrupted, or error-free.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vidastral and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising out of your use of or inability to use the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (zero, if the service was free to you).

6. Content and intellectual property

The service, its design, and its content are owned by Vidastral or its licensors. Readings generated for you are yours to keep and share for personal, non-commercial use. You may not scrape, resell, or train third-party models on bulk output from the service.

7. Changes

We may change these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page with a revised "last updated" date. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, and subject to the mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence.

10. Purchases

The paid products are the pass, single readings of a pass spread and the reading written by a tarot reader; the price, VAT included, is shown before you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. The pass and single readings are delivered, or start, as soon as you pay: by paying, you agree to immediate delivery and waive the 14-day right of withdrawal; that consent is shown next to the pay button. If we fail to write what you paid for, we refund that amount. The reading written by a tarot reader is sold by Vidastral: you buy it from Vidastral, which takes the payment and handles your questions and refunds, and the tarot reader writes it for us. It reaches you within 48 hours of payment, in your thread, and we email you when it arrives; if it doesn't arrive in that time, for whatever reason, we refund you in full automatically, without you having to ask. By paying for it, you ask us to start right away and acknowledge that, once it has been delivered, you lose the 14-day right of withdrawal; that consent is also shown next to the pay button. Readings about another person, on their own thread, are about adults only: we do not read about people under 18. The pass is a subscription, monthly or yearly: it is charged when you subscribe and then every month or every year, depending on the plan you chose, at the price shown, until you cancel it. You can cancel any time from the pass page; cancelling takes effect at the end of the period already paid, which stays active until then, and days already running are not refunded. Without a pass, you can have up to three AI readings free of charge in any 24-hour period; with the pass, that cap does not apply. Separately, to prevent abuse, each account can generate up to 20 readings every 24 hours, with or without a pass; the pass does not change that limit.
